Cobactan LC has a broad-spectrum of activity and demonstrates outstanding efficacy against major Gram-positive and Gram-negative mastitis pathogens including Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, S.uberis, E. coli and other enterobacteria susceptible to cefquinome.
How it works
Cobactan LC is the treatment of choice when acute or severe mastitis requires a very fast and well tolerated broad-spectrum treatment to get a quick return to quality milk.
Cobactan LC has a small, uniform drug particle size and non-irritant base that ensures excellent distribution and rapid penetration deep into udder tissue. It provides a rapid onset of activity and a rapid decrease in inflammation and cell counts.
The high degree of efficacy against penicillin resistant and Gram-negative bacteria (such as E.coli) means high bacteriological cure is achieved against all main causes of mastitis.
Cobactan LC’s oily formulation ensures excellent syringeability, even at low temperatures.
Cobactan LC can be used concurrently with Cobactan 2.5% Injection to increase cure, without increasing the withholding period.
